Direct Table asked us to take a look at their Sizzling brand of bacon. The old look was somewhat dated and they wanted a bolder, more modern approach to standout on shelf. The redesign was also a strategic move to help win business back into a major retailer.
The Sizzling typography has been designed to reflect the hot grill under which the bacon crisps. Bright yellow typography is offset by bold label colours and, with further modern typography, covers all the concerns with the previous pack labels.
The new branding and packaging was well-liked by the client and subsequently helped to ensure listings with the desired supermarket. The new look is now being rolled out across the range of bacon rashers and gammon.
