Jess Cooks… is a new brand of healthy kids suppers – less ready meal, more batch-cook. We were asked to devise a new brand name, brand logo and packaging design for this exciting venture. Whilst it must target adults, it must also appeal to 6-12 year old’s too.
After a round of name generation, the chosen option, ‘Jess Cooks…’ (reflecting the chef herself), was developed through to final branding. It portrays the ‘home-cooked’, healthy nature of the product. Informal, hand-cut style typography, combined with bold colours, help the product appeal to kids and adults alike.
The branding and packaging has been a hit with the client and current customers, and is successfully being sold in to many new retailers too.
