St Peter’s Brewery produce a range of award-winning bottled and cask beers in their Suffolk based brewery. The Finishing Post have been working with St Peter’s Brewery since 2014 and we were delighted to be chosen by new Managing Director John Hadingham as the design agency for their rebrand, including branding their exciting new draft beers, bottle labels and pump clips.
We developed a design that reflected the heraldic symbols featured on the exterior walls of St Peter’s Hall, whilst maximising the brand icon, the Raven. The new bottle labels use a more contemporary colour palette and fonts, with clear tasting notes for customer appeal on shelf. The core range uses a gold keyline for a premium feel, where the alcohol free and lifestyle varieties use silver for differentiation.
The new branding was launched at the high profile Craft Beer Rising event with much positive feedback, from consumers and the trade. Managing Director John Hadingham comments: “We’ve been working with The Finishing Post to develop a new look for St Peter’s that is quirky and innovative, but retains the true ethos of the brewery. We’re very proud of our brand and these new beers and pleased with the positive response.”
