Branding, packaging design and point of sale for pet food brands
Skinners were looking to launch a new brand of dog food, suitable for dogs of all ages and sizes, each one formulated by their expert nutritionists to maximise a dog’s health for its whole life.
We created the ‘Life®’ brand to reflect the ethos of the product, providing nutrition for every stage of a dog’s life. We wanted the packs to exude energy, so commissioned a photoshoot with model dogs, combined with some stock imagery. Colour-coding helps to differentiate the variants with clear on-pack icons to communicate the benefits.
The branding was rolled out across a full suite of marketing materials to promote the launch:
DIGITAL MARKETING SOCIAL MEDIA ASSETS FOR WILD BIRD CARE BRAND
Gardman is one of the UK’s leading garden products providers and Gardman Wild Bird Care is the UK’s No.1 bird care brand. We were briefed to create a range of 36 infographic banners to engage consumers across their social media, highlighting how to spot different breeds of garden birds and how to feed and care for them.
We designed a range of “How to spot…” social media banners across 18 different breeds, featuring a large photograph of the specific bird with pointers highlighting three distinct features to look out for.
We also created 18 different “How to care for…” banners highlighting the nesting and feeding habits of each breed, along with a cross sell of Gardman bird feed products.
Advertising, point of sale and literature for veterinary and animal health brands
Over the years we have worked with many veterinary and animal health brands to create impactful campaigns aimed at their veterinary and consumer customers.
For Virbac Animal Health, we created this cat and dog flea treatment marketing campaign across posters, point of sale and a desk pad calendar. Effipro is a spot-on flea treatment for pets, and Indorex is a spray flea treatment for the home. Two separate products combine to provide a total solution to fleas, ticks and house dust mites. The problem was how to market them together?
Our solution was to create a Flea Free Zone concept with an eye-catching and customer-friendly illustration style. The campaign was designed to be bold, bright and fun to appeal to customers in the vet’s waiting room.
DIRECT MAIL CATALOGUE DESIGN FOR WILD BIRD FOOD COMPANY
Birds & Bees are a bird food company focusing on premium products aimed at feeding and protecting our UK wild birds and wildlife.
We worked with them to update their mail order catalogue to an A4 magazine format to include lots of information about bird feeding, plus some important advice on caring for the wildlife in our gardens. The hints and tips provide added value amongst the great offers and extensive range of bird seed, feeders and wildlife homes.
As part of our marketing support for the Birds & Bees brand we also created a range of adverts in gardening publications and consumer direct mail postcards to further promote the brand.
