KCS (Kent County Supplies) were looking to update their corporate identity, to elevate the brand and build awareness of KCS as a nationwide Education resources supplier rather than a local authority organisation. They wanted the new branding to reflect their personality while being memorable to their customers.
We reviewed their current identity, gained an understanding of their business, then we proposed a solution that also challenged the brand consistency in other areas of the group. The brief was expanded to include the other business sector: KCS Procurement Services and also the KCS Group umbrella identity. We then focused on a solution that had a consistent look across the group with individual identities for each business area. We also ensured the new branding could adapt to future business growth.
The new corporate identity is accessible yet professional and addresses the need for individual personality for each business. The brand logos consist of an icon, the wordmark and the business sector title.
