Twestival and tweets...

MarThe Finishing Post were delighted to be part of Suffolk’s very first Twestival held at Bury St Edmunds Art Gallery on 25th March.
It was a gathering of local ‘tweeters’ which aimed to raise as much money as possible for Concern Worldwide which provides education for the world’s poorest children.
The event included a talk on Social Media from Suffolk based Jamie Riddell which proved to be really interesting. We picked up many great tips and ideas for how to use Twitter and social networking sites as part of a marketing campaign.
Sam has been busy ‘tweeting’ all week - and we are pleased to report that we have reached 50 followers today!
We are also busy following all the contacts that Sam and Hannah met at the event on Twitter.
It’s proving to be a very interesting and welcoming social networking community out there - so if you haven’t got a page on Twitter yet, why not give it a go? -
